The AmigaDE Vote was to some extent a disappointment as the turnout was significantly lower than the Classic Vote. It would seem that people are waiting for the next wave of AmigaDE games, which are expected to be more sophisticated and advanced. However, the releases of 2001 are of historical importance as they are the very first AmigaDE titles. In addition, gamers considering which AmigaDE titles are worth purchasing, should take note that even though Amiga Inc's sales chart indicates the top sellers, the Amiga Flame chart clearly indicates how people felt about which titles are the best buys.
