Mr. Horbach of KDH-Datentechnik has revealed in an interview with GFX-Base that they have persuaded Epic Interactive to convert Software Tycoon to the Amiga. Mr. Horbach stated that, “the game might ease the waiting time for new hardware products”.
Software Tycoon is an unusual simulation game for it gives gamers the opportunity to run their own computer game company. You have total control, from creating the original concept, through hiring staff and packaging design, to the development of massive marketing campaigns. Not only will you have to cope with challenges of new technologies but also keep an eye on the competition, as your opponents will stop at nothing to ruin your business.
Mr. Horbach of KDH-Datentechnik believes that Software Tycoon will be mainly for PowerPC gamers although a 68k version has not been ruled out. Gamers will need at least 32MB and a GFX-card. Software Tycoon should be released in May.
