The companies behind Samantha, a PowerPC board which should be suitable for AmigaOS 4 intend to bring the product to Electronica 2006. This European show, which is dedicated to the embedded and automotive markets, will be held from the 14th to the 17th of November in Munich, Germany.
Avnet Memec, a semiconductor specialist distributor, who have a booth at the event will put the Samantha board on show. This company is one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components and computer equipment, so they should be able to promote the board to a wider audience.
The developers have promised to publish a full report on the event but if you intend to visit Electronica 2006 – then make sure you go to stand 606 in hall A3 to see the Samantha board.
