Alive Mediasoft is no more with Steven Flowers and other staff at Alive Mediasoft taking the decision to close down the software side and to instead concentrate their efforts upon The Pulse, which is to be produced as a professional Amiga magazine. The publishing house behind this new venture is Pulse Publishing UK.

The Pulse will have 52 pages packed with reviews, special features on Amiga related topics, tutorials on serious software and hardware, hints, tips and solutions, an Art Gallery, Letters Page and much more. Steven Flowers, Editor of The Pulse explained why The Pulse has been delayed, “we've been dedicating these past few weeks to arranging some brilliant deals for our readers including securing exclusive review rights for the most eagerly awaited games and utilities, and negotiating money-off vouchers from the top Amiga companies to be included in every single issue of The Pulse from now on”. The new issue of The Pulse will this time around offer a voucher to receive £5.00 off the brand new Foundation Gold.

The new issue of The Pulse is priced at £3.00 UK pounds with it due in July. It will have special feature on the best news web sites, game previews on Homeland and Nightlong along with reviews on Hell Squad, Foundation Gold/ Undiscovered Lands, Joyride and Amiga Classix 2. There will also be serious reviews on Art Effect 4, Amiga Writer 2, Photo Folio and Blizzard Vision. They will also have their first instalment of a massive tutorial on Lightwave 3D.
