Personal Paint 7.1 Coming to AmigaOne

Amiga Inc and Cloanto have in a joint statement announced that Personal Paint 7.1 will be available on the new Amiga platform.

Since its debut in 1992, the Personal Paint series of 2D graphics and animations applications has been a mainstay of the application base for the Amiga platform. It is unknown whether Cloanto will be responsible for the port or whether Amiga Inc with the help of outside developers will complete the task. Reaction to the news has been largely positive, with one Italian student on stating, “Thanks Amiga Inc. Personal Paint is a good program… I was hoping for a OS4 port.... great it is true!”.

In related news, Cloanto just announced that Amiga Alpe Adria 2004 will take place on the 3rd of July in Udine, Italy. Planned events include the latest developments from Cloanto and Amiga Inc, a selection of items of historical interest, a contest (with a C65 computer as the first prize), and an excursion by boat.
