James Daniels of Apex Designs has produced a status report on the progress of the AmigaDE/ Intent version of Payback, the “Best Amiga Game of 2001”.
Even though the conversion of Payback to the AmigaDE/ Intent was only started less than two months ago, James Daniels has revealed, “it's totally playable under the Windows SDK and runs completely smoothly even in rotating view mode”. More significantly this report seems to suggest that Payback is destined for the PDA games market. James Daniels commented that lots of PDA's have unusual resolutions by desktop standards such as 240x320, and thus Payback will support these resolutions. PDA gamers could in for a real treat.
