Amiga Flame on the Move

The launch of the new Amiga platform draws closer as Eyetech adds further enhancements to the AmigaOne hardware and Hyperion Entertainment puts the finishing touches to the new Amiga operating system, AmigaOS 4. Meanwhile developers in the gaming and creative arena are busy working on the first wave of titles that will debut on the platform. Not only do Amiga companies and developers have to prepare to cater for the expected changes in the market but also community based websites like Amiga Flame.

Amiga Flame, which has since 1996 provided up-to-date games news and in more recent times covered developments in the creative arena will enhance its presence. The Demon account will therefore fade out of existence to be placed by the new website. Further changes are expected to be implemented such as the expansion and redevelopment of aspects of the website over the course of the next twelve months. Hopefully by the completion of these changes Amiga Flame will become a more active website in which gamers will not only be able to find the latest games news but also play a greater role in making the news and having their say as to which games they like or look forward to.

The transition from the Amiga classic platform to the next generation is almost upon us.
