Hyperion Entertainment have released a new update for AmigaOS 4.0 on CyberStormPPC and BlizzardPPC equipped Amigas.
This update is mainly designed to fix issues that have come to the attention of classic AmigaOS 4 users; the new kernel fixes outstanding issues with the Mediator 1200/Voodoo combination, and an updated Intuition and Layers modules fix a rare occurrence of graphics trashing. However, there are also new parts included in the update such as support for all Mediator models, including the new Mediator 1200 TX, and a new version of DvPlayer SE.
Hans-Joerg Frieden, a member of the AmigaOS 4 team revealed on the Amiga World forum that they “plan to have an update for the AmigaOne version within the first six months of this year”.
