The organisers behind Pianeta Amiga have revealed that Hyperion and Iridium will have a presence at Pianeta Amiga 2007. This year's event will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of September in Empoli, Italy.
In a surprise move it was announced that Evert Carton, Managing partner of Hyperion will be present at the ACube Systems Srl booth from the late afternoon of Saturday. Speculation is mounting as to whether this close relationship between the two companies is a sign of Hyperion's confidence that AmigaOS 4 will eventually be released for Sam440ep. Acube Systems have already announced that they will unveil Sam440ep, new PowerPC hardware that will serve as a platform for a number of Operating Systems.
It has also been revealed that Iridium Srl will present the GP2X console along with accessories such as a Neuro OSD digital video recorder based on Linux, and mobiBlu Cube2 tiny mp3 reader (1 inch per side) with 2Gb and OLED display. The complete range of SanDisk products including Sansa C240 an mp3 reader with LCD screen will be demonstrated.
