As reported last week, on the 15th of May an Amiga event will take place in Essen, Germany. The show is expected to draw users from across Germany and beyond, as leading figures in the Amiga Community will be in attendance.
Various members of the Hyperion team will be present such as Hans Jörg and Thomas Frieden, Steffen Haeuser, and Timothy De Groote. They will demonstrate AmigaOS 4 running on AmigaOne systems, while Ralf Toenjes, an AmigaOS 4 Betatester will demonstrate the latest version on his A4000 with CyberstormPPC.
It has also been confirmed that Alan Redhouse, CEO of Eyetech will pay a visit to the event. It is hoped that he will reveal more details about their plans for the Micro AmigaOne as many people were disappointed that he could make it to Gothenburg show, where he planned to make a speech. It is in fact possible that he might talk about Eyetech's plans at a computer event in Italy called Webbit, which is taking place this weekend.
