Digital Universe 1.5, the only astronomy program for AmigaOS 4, has been officially released. It is now available to purchase directly from their website.
Digital Universe is a powerful astronomy simulation package, useful to everyone from amateur enthusiasts to professional astronomers. It combines the advantages of a professional-level "planetarium" program with a massive hypertext multimedia encyclopaedia to create an easy to use and effective tool which assists the user in observing and learning more about the heavens. The complete package enables you to simulate views of the night sky from any location on Earth with an unprecedented level of accuracy.
Bill Eaves, who is behind the project, revealed that work is now progressing on version 1.6 which will be a free upgrade to registered users. A demo of Digital Universe 1.5 has been made available on OS4 Depot.
