(CP_Logo)When you get the game the best thing to do is to get it installed as fast as you can as it's a big game and will take some time to install. While your waiting to get it installed, instead of waiting anxiety, read the manual.

The manual is very good with it telling you what you need to know but not telling you about the moves as it's better to learn them on your own. It explains all the options in the game and full details to get it running.

(CP_Monster)In the manual it gives you the plot to the game. It goes like this; you are the last of great warriors and you have to get rid of the evil Lord Qwesul. But unfortunately for you Qwesul knows that you are here and has placed guards on every floor of the castle. So now you have to fight your way past all of Qwesul guards until you reach Qwesul himself. If you fail to beat Qwesul, he will make you immortal and you will become one of his guards confined to one room. That is the Capital Punishment.

Upon loading the game you will be greeted with some fanastic music and sound effects.

But I learned something very quickly that this game was not going to be easy. The best way to start of the game is by playing a League this way you get the chance to learn some moves and see what the completion is like. You'll also find that each character has many different moves and skills so it'll take time to learn them.

I found the most best aspect of this beat'em up to be that it has a two player option. To be able to beat up your friend or enemy and throw them into a spike trap or electrify them really made the game addictive and helped you to discover the players moves faster.

(Traps)Watch out for traps as when you start for the first time you could be in for a shock. I got stabed in the neck by a statue's staff so watch out carefully as the computer player knows were they are and will try his best to end the fight quickly by sending you into a trap.

Once you have finished training and have discovered some good moves then it's time to play Epic which is based on the story. Now you will find that the computer will constantly attack you even when you are on the ground, so I found the best way was to attack him first and make sure he never has the chance to get a clear punch at you.

You'll find that advice harder to implement than it seems. This is what I like in Capital Punishment it isn't like the other beat'em ups where at your first go you nearly finish it. This game provides a challenge that requires you to train your player, find his moves and be able to use them quickly against any opponent.

(Players)(Characters)There are four players that you can choose from who all have different moves and a variety of skill. Their names are Wakantanka whose a big guy and can give your opponent a cacking punch; Sarmon who is a ninja fighter and has plenty of moves; Demona's a girl who is fast and can quickly have any opponent down in seconds and then there is Corben Wedge who has some hidden moves that can surprise his enemy. It really takes you to find out there skills before you go to Epic or else you'll not last very long.

The games graphics are awsome with some amazing back rounds that add to the atmospheric and help create the illusion that you are really there. The shadows in the game have been created with precision and so has the players moves. The sound effects are implemented well so when you connect with a player it gives you the sound of the hit. Unlike some beat'em ups where you just have to punch near to the opponent and he falls down this game works so that the punchs look like they are hitting realisticity on the opponent.

Just in case you don't like all the blood or seeing a womans tits then when you are installing it click on the Parental Lock which will edit all this out.

Combined with the sound, graphics, and playablity it has to be the true master of Amiga beat'em ups; I really doubt that this game could be beat. Lets hope ClickBOOM can create more games of such great quality so we can enjoy them.
