News has reached Amiga Flame that much progress has been made with the conversion of Allegro, a game development library. This important tool provides all the key ingredients to create games and other multimedia software on your chosen platform.
Although a key developer has been delayed in completing the project, one of the betatester's revealed that game titles are already being ported. For instance, work has commenced on porting Zelda Classic, a remake of The Legend of Zelda, which is regarded as one of the most popular Allegro based games.
In response to these developments, Amiga users have made further donations including one from Tony Aksnes who donated a sum of 70 Euros. In total, over 450 Euros have been raised for the Allegro bounty.
